How’re ya!

Name’s Sam

I’m Irish. You will contest that I'm not, but I am.

I studied cinematography and filmmaking in Dublin, however, the word “studied” is being used strategically, though not at all generously. I definitely did do that, and sure now I’m here aren’t I? - so ya might as well!
I've been at this a little while now and I must say I'm quite fond of it.

I got my start in photography in NYC shooting comedy shows in backyards during the pandemic as a hobby, and from there graduated to photographing some of New York's best and most famous rooms for it, like my favourite New York Comedy Club.

Since then I have had the pleasure and privilege of shooting performances at many venues across the city, places like the gorgeous Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theater, MSG, The Bell House, and Gramercy Theater.

I am also incredibly lucky to say that my work has been featured in publications such as GQ, Variety, The New York Times, and Deadline.

For all queries and bookings you can reach me at samuelcashell@gmail.com, if you're not looking for a long back and forth there is always my handy-dandy booking form which covers most of the questions I would have for you regarding a shoot, and takes no time at all to fill out.
Feel free to contact me anytime. Please allow a day or two for responses. Your interest will always be much appreciated, I would love to work with you!
All the best!
